Top Dawg Entertainment has issued a statement, slamming the sexual assault claims brought against their executives.
The label’s attorney, Marty Singer, shared a statement with Baller Alert, strongly denying the allegations and identifying the women who filed the lawsuit.
“This is a clear example of a shakedown lawsuit by Linda Luna and Ayah Altayri who made a demand of $48 million through their attorneys on fabricated claims, and whose attorneys are looking for their ten minutes of fame,” the statement read.
Top Dawg Entertainment executives Anthony “Moosa” Tiffith and Brandon Tiffith are facing serious allegations in the case. On December 3rd, 2024, the two women anonymously filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court, accusing the execs of sexual battery, harassment, and unpaid wages, according to newly surfaced court documents.
One plaintiff claims she was hired for public relations and marketing at TDE. She claims, “During the course of her performance of work for TDE, she was subject to inappropriate workplace behavior, including sexual harassment and assault by officers and executives of the company.”
The second plaintiff, Jane Roe, is a friend of a TDE artist and alleges she was “sexually harassed twice by TDE employees, one of whom gave her alcohol (despite her being underage) in an attempt to further sexual advances,” while at a TDE-owned property.
The suit alleges that TDE’s leadership was aware of the misconduct but did nothing. Named defendants include TDE President Anthony “Moosa” Tiffith, Chief Marketing Officer Brandon Tiffith, and employee David Harrell. However, Singer says there is proof that proves the incidents never happened.
“There are text messages and communications that totally refute these baseless claims. Additionally, Ms. Luna and Ms. Altayri were never employees of Top Dawg Entertainment. We are confident that we will prevail in this action.”
