Move The Crowd: These DJs Are Guaranteed To Have Your Next Party Lit

As a DJ, taking control of a crowd and receiving a reaction is no easy feat to accomplish. The cultural phenomenon that helped birth hip-hop in the Bronx during the late 1970s has since crossfaded into greater heights across the globe, contributing to a multi-billion dollar industry.

And in addition to gathering the right set of people and beverages to entertain guests for an event, you may also want to consider selecting one of the following mixmasters to help keep your next party lit into the next morning. With that said, we decided to highlight five of our favorite DJs spinning on today’s music scene.

Let us know your favorites in the comment section.

DJ D Nice (@djdnice)

From spinning at major events including the Grammys and the Super Bowl to hosting parties on the sunny shores of Anguilla with Kenny Burns, D Nice is –hands down — one the hottest DJs in the game. The sought-after tastemaker, who’s responsible for discovering Kid Rock and is an original member of influential hip-hop group Boogie Down Productions, was an active DJ during President Obama’s 2012 campaign. As for his latest musical offerings, you can check out his music curation skills on the new “Deuce”-inspired mixtape, “HBO Mixtapes and Roller Skates” available now on Spotify.

DJ Efeezy (@djefeezy)

DJ Efeezy is more than just a cast member on “Love & Hip Hop Miami,” he’s an official Heavy Hitter — literally. According to Allmusic.com, Feezy, a two-time Global Spin Award-winner, scored his first DJ gig at the age of 12, before making his radio debut at Cleveland’s commercial radio station, WENZ. Last month, the self-proclaimed “Wolf of South Beach” inked a joint venture deal with Traktion Music Group & Roc Nation.

DJ Envy (@djenvy)

DJ Envy isn’t your average DJ. Since the 90s, the Queens, NY-native has been very active as he made his rounds on the DJ and mixtape scene. Fast forward to 2018, and he’s one of the leading on-air radio DJs in the country. Each morning fans can check out the “People’s Champ” as a co-host of the hit syndicated radio show, “The Breakfast Club,” and by night rocking at your favorite nightclub. Adding to his plethora list of jobs, this Fall Envy will star alongside his family in the Bravo Docu-Comedy series, “Gold With Envy.”

DJ Spinna (@djspinna)

Known for his popular Michael Jackson and Prince tribute parties, DJ Spinna’s musical talents has transcended across the globe. Through the years, the producer and music architect has produced a slew of hip-hop, house, and soul remixes for various labels. Most recently, the Brooklyn-native joined Spike Lee in New York during a block party to celebrate Prince’s 60th birthday.

DJ Esco (@escomoecity)

The “Coolest DJ In The World” is known for his early years of breaking artists as a resident DJ at Atlanta’s famous strip club, Magic City. Since then Esco’s fresh blended mix of Southern hip-hop has catapulted him onto big festival stages including Coachella and Made In America. Not to mention, landing a residency Las Vegas’ Drai’s Nightclub. In April, Esco blessed fans with his Epic Records debut compilation album, “Kolorblind.”
