Tory Lanez’s legal team is making a new push to challenge his conviction in the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion through a detailed website called 36HoursLater.com aimed at reshaping the narrative and highlighting testimony they believe was overlooked during trial.
The site includes never-before-heard audio from the night of July 12 2020 witness statements and breakdowns of key moments in the hours following Megan’s Instagram Live where she identified Tory as the shooter.
One of the major claims on the site comes from trial witness Sean Kelly who told police he saw a woman later identified as Kelsey Harris exit the SUV in a rage to confront Megan. Kelly described the moment as a physical altercation between the two women involving kicking and clawing. He claimed Kelsey appeared to fire shots into the car while Tory stayed in the backseat until after the gunfire began.
This testimony was shared during trial but Tory was still convicted on multiple counts including first degree assault with a firearm and later sentenced to 10 years in prison.
The site also features a sworn statement from Tory’s former bodyguard JauQuan Smith who says he broke up the fight but did not see who fired the gun. Another statement from a man identified as Bradlie James Kelsey’s alleged bodyguard claims he overheard Kelsey tell her husband she fired three times in the air before Tory got involved and two more shots followed.
Lanez’s team also challenges the consistency of Megan’s medical reports pointing to three different physician accounts only one of which confirmed a gunshot wound. They also feature clips of Megan initially saying she stepped on glass before later clarifying it was a bullet injury.
Despite these claims Megan has repeatedly maintained Tory was the shooter and recently called him a demon after sentencing.
Lanez is currently serving his sentence but 36HoursLater.com is the latest effort from his team to present an alternative timeline in a case that continues to spark strong opinions.
