Tory Lanez Hit With Lawsuit Involving Hit-and-Run That Left Man Disfigured

Rapper Tory Lanez might be in more legal trouble after a man claims that he was disfigured in a hit-and-run accident involving a car owned by him.

According to Radar, Barry Fine is suing the rapper and his car insurance company AIG.

Barry claims in the lawsuit that on January 23, 2021, he was traveling around Florida in his 2020 Porsche Cayenne Coupe Turbo. He claims that an unknown driver, driving Tory’s 2016 Range Rover, caused a “chain reaction rear-end collision striking one vehicle propelling that vehicle into Plaintiff’s vehicle.”

The lawsuit also states that Tory’s vehicle was involved in a hit and run because they “fled the scene.” The car was found abanded on interstate 95 near Miami.

According to the plaintiff, the collision resulted in serious injuries and property damage. He is also blaming the incident on Tory’s irresponsibility.

The lawsuit also notes that Barry claims his injuries include disfigurement, physical and mental pain and suffering, medical expenses, loss of earning capacity, a permanent injury, significant scarring, and out-of-pocket expenses.

Barry is accusing Tory of letting an Unknown individual drive his car. He is reportedly seeking damages in the amount of over $30,000. He believes Tory and the insurance company should compensate him for the difference in his car’s worth before and after the accident.

Radar previously reported on the rough few weeks that the rapper has been having lately.

He recently dodged being put in jail after prosecutors accused him of violating his court order of having to stay away from rapper Megan Thee Stallion.

Shawn Holley, Tory’s attorney, convinced the judge not to send the rapper to jail. Instead, the judge increased his bond from $190k to $250k.

A hearing is scheduled for tomorrow in the case, and he is still facing criminal charges over the shooting incident with Megan Thee Stallion.
