Tory Lanez Is Ordered To Stay Away From Megan Thee Stallion

A judge has ordered Tory Lanez to stay away from Megan Thee Stallion after a hearing for his assault charge.

On Tuesday, Tory appeared for a hearing by phone in Los Angeles County Court. He was supposed to be arraigned but his lawyer requested for it to be pushed back.The request was granted, which meant that Tory didn’t have to enter a plea, but instead the judge issued a protective order against Tory.

According to TMZ, the protective order states he has to stay at least 100 yards away from Meg and can’t contact her either.

His bail was set at $190,000, which he’s going to post with a bondsman.

This came on the same day Meg wrote an op-ed in the New York Times supporting, defending and protecting Black women.

“I was recently the victim of an act of violence by a man,” Meg wrote. “After a party, I was shot twice as I walked away from him. We were not in a relationship. Truthfully, I was shocked that I ended up in that place…My initial silence about what happened was out of fear for myself and my friends. Even as a victim, I have been met with skepticism and judgment,” she continued. “The way people have publicly questioned and debated whether I played a role in my own violent assault proves that my fears about discussing what happened were, unfortunately, warranted.”
