Although Tory Lanez was just denied bond as he appeals his sentence in the Megan Thee Stallion case, he is still optimistic about being released.
According to TMZ, after being denied bond, Lanez contacted Ceasar McDowell, a member of his legal team and the CEO of Unite the People, to reassure them that he was still hopeful about the future.
TMZ sources say that Lanez was not shocked that a judge denied his request and said that it was “all in God’s plan.”
As of Thursday, Lanez is focused on the legal team’s plans to challenge the recent judge’s ruling. He’s optimistic a higher court will be more receptive compared to the current trial court, which has him in custody.
It was previously reported that Lanez requested a bond release to live with his son during his ongoing appeal.
