A pregnant woman has filed a lawsuit against rapper Tory Lanez, claiming he hit her in his car and drove off.

According to TMZ, a woman named Krisha and her partner Jesse Grunion, claim Lanez sideswiped them while driving his car in Miami back in 2021 on New Year’s and never properly addressed the alleged hit. At the time of the incident, the couple says they were exiting a highway and stopped at a red light located at the end of the off-ramp, and that’s when they were allegedly hit from the left side of their car by Lanez’s green Bentley SUV.

The couple claims that in their attempt to hold him accountable for the alleged hit-and-run, they’ve reached out to him to have him appear for a deposition. The couple also claims Lanez has yet to respond to their claim in its entirety.

On Tory’s end, his lawyer — Andell Brown — says the couple’s claims are untrue and questioned the validity of their story, pointing out that the alleged incident happened in January, but the rapper’s insurance allegedly wasn’t made aware of the claim until July.

Brown says an investigation into the matter was conducted by Lanez’s insurance company, who then allegedly established that there were no grounds for a legitimate claim.
