Tory Lanez’s Team Accused Of Impersonating Members Of Megan Thee Stallion’s Label To Support His Campaign

A source close to the Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion incident recently revealed that members of the Canadian artist’s team impersonated members of Megan’s record label, 300 Entertainment, by sending several emails to “campaign” for him. This comes after he was accused of shooting Megan in the foot.

According to Complex, fabricated text messages between the two artists were also sent to multiple outlets. Billboard also obtained a screenshot from an additional source that showed a fake email account for Kevin Leong, 300’s Head of Creative. Tory’s team is accused of creating this fake account that sent an email with a link to a report that the Houston rapper did not want to testify against Tory.

However, 300 has since responded, saying, “In this day and age, digital security is of utmost importance. The email impersonation of our Head of Creative Kevin Leong, with the intent to disseminate false information, has been brought to our attention, and we are working diligently on Megan’s behalf to get to the bottom of the matter.”

In turn, a representative for Lanez has “strongly” denied the allegations that the rapper or his team are behind the fabrications, saying, “The only commentary which has been made on this topic was the creative output on the album. We are investigating who could be sending these false emails and intend to take action against them.”

An anonymous source also spoke on the disagreement that caused the entire ordeal, saying, “[Lanez] was supposed to be dropping her off at home with her friend, and an argument ensued,” according to Billboard.

“He started calling her names. So she said she wanted to get out of the car. She got out of the car, walked away from the car, and at a short distance, he told her, ‘dance b—h’, pulled out a gun and shot [at] her four times. Two times hit her, one in each foot, and the other two missed her,” the source said.

However, on his surprise album Daystar, Lanez addressed Megan’s allegations and denied firing the shots on the intro track, “Money Over Fallouts,” saying, “How the f–k you get shot in your foot, don’t hit no bones or tendons?”

But, according to the source, Tory contacted Megan to apologize. “Tory starts texting her. He starts apologizing, saying, ‘I’m your friend. I love you. Please. I was just drunk. Call me. I wanna make this work,'” the source said.

He also reportedly contacted members of her team to offer money and cool the air while Meg was in surgery to remove the shrapnel that had penetrated her left heel. “He starts calling other people around her, including her friends after she gets out of jail, because she was also taken in [for questioning] ’cause she was there, and [Tory] was offering money, saying he wants to make it right and wants to resolve this issue,” the source said. “He starts calling her day-to-day managers and said he wants to talk to her, reaches out to the security guard, all of that,” the source claimed.

Tory’s ill-timed album added fuel to the fire. Megan’s lawyer said Tory and his team are creating a “smear campaign” against her.
