Police said that three women visiting New York from Texas attacked a hostess at a famed Upper West Side Italian restaurant after being asked to provide proof of vaccination.
A viral video making the rounds online shows the moment the tourists attacked the 24-year-old worker at Carmine’s around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The three women Sally Rechelle Lewis, 49, of Houston, and Kaeita Nkeenge Rankin, 44, and Tyonnie Keshay Rankin, 21, both of Humble, Texas, allegedly punched and hit the hostess multiple times and broke her necklace after she questioned the legitimacy of the vaccination documentation they presented.
Cops arrested the trio and charged them for criminal mischief.
