Alabama Barker is experiencing some health complications due to nicotine withdrawal.
The 19-year-old was recently rushed to a Los Angeles hospital. Sources close to her broke the news to TMZ that Alabama, the daughter of Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler, quit vaping due to her music career. However, the sudden change reportedly left her feeling panicked and overall unwell. Concerned for her health, the teen called 911 and was taken to a local hospital. Medical experts confirmed she was suffering from nicotine withdrawal after quitting cold turkey without weaning off the vape pens. They explained that such a sudden stop can lead to withdrawal symptoms, though it’s unclear exactly what she was experiencing before seeking treatment.
It’s also unknown exactly what day she sought medical intervention but fortunately, the scare didn’t ruin Alabama’s Christmas Eve birthday celebration. She shared a picture on Instagram of a birthday balloon and flowers from well-wishers. She also celebrated the release of her first rap music video for her song “Vogue,” which features her famous stepmother, Kourtney Kardashian.
This is just Alabama’s latest health scare. Earlier this year, she was hospitalized for an undisclosed illness. However, she kept that situation mostly private aside from thanking fans for prayers. As of now, she has not spoken out about her nicotine withdrawals and struggles with quitting the vape pens.
