“Why y’all talking about my girl? Go find something else to talk about,” Hunter said. “Y’all are just now starting to talk about me. My girl’s been with me for five years. I know what I got.”

At the Heisman ceremony, a viral clip showed Colorado head coach Deion Sanders asking Lenee to stand when Hunter’s name was called, sparking chatter about her demeanor. Another video from a pop-up event in New York City showed her sitting while Hunter took photos with fans. In the clip, Lenee allegedly said, “What do you want me to do? I’ll just sit here then,” which drew mixed reactions online.

Hunter clarified the situation, explaining that Lenee was helping his family while he greeted fans and dismissed speculation about her behavior. “She was sitting there because she was holding it down for my family,” Hunter said.
