Travis Scott has reportedly settled on an alleged NYC nightclub incident earlier this year.
According to TMZ, La Flame agreed on a settlement with Nebula after the “Trance” rapper got into a yelling match with a sound engineer. Scott was in New York City supporting his prodigy, Don Toliver’s, new album Lovesick on February 28.
An argument got heated between Scott and a sound engineer he allegedly attacked, costing $12,000 in damages. The sound engineer claims Scott punched him in the face and destroyed a soundboard after the rapper got upset the music volume was turned down.
While the civil aspect of the incident is done, it’s unclear if the father of two is facing criminal charges, as NYPD told TMZ it’s an “active investigation.” However, the outlet reports the alleged victim has stopped cooperating with authorities, so it’s unlikely the rapper will face charges.
The settlement amount has not been made public at this time.
Shortly after the incident, the sound engineer interviewed while in the hospital said, “My neck is f**ked up. My arm is tingling. I have pins and needles going down it.”
