Following the tragedy that unfolded Friday night at the Astroworld festival, Travis Scott reportedly attended an afterparty that same night at Dave & Busters.
Insiders close to the rapper claim he was never informed that people had died and that hundreds of other individuals were injured in the crowd.
According to the sources, Drake, who performed with Scott and threw the after-party, maintains he had no clue of the severity of the tragedy.
Sources told TMZ “Travis didn’t know the severity of the situation when he arrived at the party, as far as timing, this remains consistent with the fact that no one including the police had publicly confirmed the gravity of the events that had taken place.”
Investigators are still attempting to figure out what happened, but according to local fire chief Samuel Pea, the tragedy occurred when “the crowd surged towards the stage, crushing those at the front who were unable to escape.”
