It appears that Travis Scott is finally ready to break his silence on his split from Kylie Jenner. According to a source close to the Grammy-nominated rapper and producer, he “still very much loves” Kylie, whom he shares a one-year-old daughter with.
The insider allegedly spoke exclusively with US Weekly, explaining that “[He] feels that their relationship was too fast too soon. He loves her, but he wanted to be able to live his life and travel and be with other people and not have to worry about always going back to his family.”
The relationship was a bit of a whirlwind romance. The two began dating in the Spring of 2017. On February 1st, 2018, they welcomed their daughter, Stormi Webster, though the couple did not announce the birth until three days later via social media.
However, it was confirmed in October of this year that Travis and Kylie were taking a break from the relationship. The split was announced months after rumors began to circulate that Travis cheated on the beauty mogul, which the 28-year-old Houston native has vehemently denied. In fact, he took to Instagram to clear up the claims, stating that “Once again these false stories about me cheating are just simply not true. Focusing on life, music, and family at this moment is what’s real.” Kylie also took to Twitter to give her take on where the relationship stood. “Travis and I are on great terms, and our main focus right now is Stormi !!” She wrote at the time. “Our friendship and our daughter is priority.”
Since the split, eyebrows have been raised as Kylie has been spotted hanging out with Drake, a supposed friend and longtime collaborator of Travis. While neither party has commented on the new alleged blossoming relationship, a source close to the couple confirmed to US Weekly that “Kylie and Drake’s friendship did take a romantic turn recently.” Travis is also rumored to be seeing an old flame.
Despite the new reports, The two appear to be co-parenting well, which is ultimately the best outcome one could hope for during a breakup. We wish them all the best.
