Trey Songz cannot seem to keep his hands to himself, according to a new lawsuit and video documenting more aggression toward a woman.
This latest set of accusations comes from a woman who attended a pool party hosted by the singer in 2013. The woman, known as Jane Doe, says the singer pulled down her bikini top and exposed her breast to a large crowd at the Foxwoods Resort in Connecticut. Doe says she was trying to get a photo with the singer when the incident occurred. To make matters worse, the entire bold move was captured on video, with Songz inciting the crowd to harass the victim further.
“In what appeared to be an attempt to further terrify and humiliate the woman, Trey Songz followed the assault with a degrading chant, ‘Titty in The Open! Titty in The Open!’” the lawsuit docs claim.
In addition to Songz and his production company, Doe also named Kevin Liles and Atlantic Records in the lawsuit. She slammed these business connections for failing to ensure the safety of women who encounter the star, calling them “negligent in their supervision of their client.”
The “Just Gotta Make It” star has a growing history of sexual abuse accusations. In November 2022, a woman accused him of anally raping her in 2016. Songz successfully had her civil lawsuit tossed out. In April 2022, Songz was once again cleared of wrongdoing in a separate sexual assault claim stemming from a Las Vegas encounter.
The latest victim initially requested a $5 million settlement from Songz, which was denied. Now, she is demanding at least $10 million in damages.
