Trey Songz just dodged a major bullet in his Los Angeles domestic violence case, as the L.A. City Attorney announced that the singer will not face a misdemeanor charge in the incident.
Back in February, during NBA All-Star weekend, a woman by the name of Andrea Buera claimed Songz punched her in the face at a Hollywood Hills party for talking to another man. According to Buera, the beatdown was so bad that she suffered a concussion.
But now, according to TMZ, Songz is clear of all wrongdoing in the All-Star incident after his lawyer provided witness statements that contradicted Buera’s original story.

As a result, the L.A. City Attorney rejected the case on Friday, citing insufficient evidence, just one month after the L.A. District Attorney revealed the singer would not face any felony charges in the case.
