Trey Songz has been named in a new $20 million lawsuit filed by a woman claiming he anally raped her at a house party in 2016.
An alleged Jane Doe sued the singer for allegedly raping her on March 24, 2016, after the two had previously been in a consensual relationship.
TMZ obtained the lawsuit in which the woman claims Trey invited her to a house party in L.A., where he asked her upstairs for what she thought would be consensual sex.
On the way up, the woman claims that Trey repeatedly asked her if he could “get that a**,” and she repeatedly told him “no.”
Shortly after, Trey became aggressive and violent after he entered the bedroom. She says he threw her to the ground, pulled off her pants, pinned her face down, and forced his penis into her anus without her consent.
Even though she tried to fight Trey off of her, the woman claims she was overpowered as she screamed in pain and pleaded with him to stop.
During the alleged rape, the woman says someone entered the room, giving her hope that the “brutal rape” would end; however, they quickly left the room, and Trey continued raping her.
As soon as Trey finished, the woman allegedly grabbed her clothes, except for her underwear, and ran outside to call an Uber.
According to the lawsuit, the woman’s Uber driver took her to the hospital, where a sexual assault exam was conducted, and police were called.
The woman says the exam showed she had “severe anal tearing that could require surgery,” … but she says she didn’t name Trey to police because she was “in shock and fearing for her life.”
Following the new reports of the new lawsuit, a rep for Trey Songz told TMZ: “Earlier today, the attorney who drafted this suit was credibly accused of trying to pay a woman to accuse Trey falsely. Hours later, that same attorney has filed this suit on behalf of an anonymous client. It isn’t hard to see what’s happening here, and it is a shame for genuine victims of sexual assault.”
The rep adds, “the allegations in this complaint are false. Trey looks forward to having the facts fully aired.”
Ariel Mitchell, the attorney for the woman, also represents two other women in lawsuits against Trey for alleged sexual assault.
According to the woman’s other attorney George Vrabeck, “Victims are coming forward every day. Just know you are not alone, and this behavior is unacceptable. George Vrabeck and I will not be deterred by bullying or intimidation tactics and will continue our pursuit of Justice for sexual assault victims of Trey Songz.”
