Tristan Thompson is “fighting” to work it out with Khloe Kardashian.

It’s been over a year since Kardashian and Thompson went through what may be the Kardashian family’s biggest scandal, which involved Thompson sharing a kiss with Kylie Jenner’s former bestie Jordyn Woods. Since then, the two have been quarantining together and hashing our their old drama.

With their 23-month-old daughter, True by their side, the NBA player and reality star are trying to make things right. “Tristan is really stepping up to the plate with Khloé and True and is fighting to make their relationship work more than ever right now,” a source told Us Weekly. While Thompson is trying to convince Kardashian that he deserves an eighth chance, the 35-year-old isn’t too sure about taking him back just yet.

“Khloé is enjoying spending time as a family and being all together right now, but she’s not completely open to letting Tristan back in her life in a romantic way right now,” said the insider. Baller Alert previously reported that the two would be spending their social-distancing time together amid the coronavirus pandemic. The two even watched “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” together. “I love that Tristan is watching this premiere with me, and he is now seeing what they say when he’s not around lol AWKWARD,” Kardashian tweeted on March 26.

“Khloé doesn’t have bad or negative feelings toward Tristan at this point,” a source said back in March. “Being quarantined has made her have a soft spot for him, and she knows he will always be part of her life in some way because he is True’s dad. Khloé has been open and receptive toward Tristan.” The former couple went their separate ways in February 2019 after a slew of cheating incidents took place from Thompson’s end.
