On Thursday, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters Trump pledged $1 million of his own money to Harvey relief.
Sanders went on to explain that Trump was uncertain of which organization he would donate to and was open to suggestions from reporters.
“As I said, he’ll pledge proudly $1 million of his own personal money to help the people of both Texas and Louisiana,” said Sanders.
Trump and Melania will travel to Texas and Louisiana on Saturday. If you recall the pair traveled to Houston, Tuesday along with Melanie’s finest stilettos.
Details regarding the trip are still being finalized but the plan is for the two to travel to Houston, Texas, and Lake Charles, Louisiana.
