In an interview on Monday, Axios journalist Jonathan Swan interviewed Donald Trump, in which Trump doubled down on his “well wishes” to alleged child sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell.
“Yeah, I wish her well,” he said. “I’d wish you well. I’d wish a lot of people well. Good luck. Let them prove somebody was guilty.

He also spoke on the cause of death of child trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, who killed himself while in a New York City jail.
“Her boyfriend died in jail, and people are still trying to figure out how did it happen. Was it suicide, was he killed? I’m not looking for anything bad for her. I’m not looking bad for anybody.”
