The feud between Donald Trump and Rosie O’Donnell is heating up once again. This time, Trump took to Truth Social to call O’Donnell a “threat to humanity” and revealed he’s “seriously considering” revoking her U.S. citizenship.
“Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship,” Trump wrote on Saturday. “She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”
O’Donnell, a vocal critic of Trump for years, moved to Ireland earlier this year, citing political distress and safety concerns. Reacting on Instagram, she didn’t hold back. “I stand in direct opposition [of] all he represents,” she wrote. “So do millions of others.” She labeled him a “criminal,” “con man,” and “sexual abusing liar.”
Their infamous back-and-forth dates back to 2006 when O’Donnell criticized Trump for defending then-Miss USA Tara Conner. Trump retaliated, calling her “a very unattractive person, both inside and out.”
O’Donnell has continued to speak out, saying her move to Ireland has improved her well-being. “It’s been heartbreaking to see what’s happening politically… I’m sleeping better,” she shared on TikTok.
This latest exchange isn’t just personal, it’s also political. The Trump administration has recently targeted foreign-born activists, defending the crackdown as national security measures.
But revoking citizenship over criticism? That’s a new level, even for Trump.
