Just hours after Donald Trump tested positive for the coronavirus, White House officials revealed that the Celebrity-in-Chief is set to be transported to Walter Reed National Medical Center.
Although the move is described as a precautionary measure recommended by Trump’s doctor, it comes after months of denial as well as his refusal to wear a mask.
In the meantime, according to NBC, sources close to Trump say he’s suffering a low-grade fever and is fatigued. But, he has been given an “antibody cocktail and vitamins for treatment.”
Melania Trump, on the other hand, has a mild cough and headache.
Trump is 74 years old and clinically obese and is at higher risk of complications from the deadly virus due to his age and health. However, his doctor maintains he is overall health, NBC News Reports.
