Donald Trump is now aiming at his own people, this time it’s Attorney General Bill Barr. Trump is upset with the Justice Department boss and suggested that Barr was getting ready to give President-elect Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden a pass.
According to The New York Post, Trump is also taking shots at a special counsel for the Department of Justice named John Durham, whom he revealed has been reviewing the origins of the FBI’s Russia collusion investigation since May 2019.
“If Biden gets in, nothing will happen to Hunter or Joe. Barr will do nothing, and the new group of partisan killers coming in will quickly kill it all,” Trump tweeted. “Same thing with Durham. We caught them cold, spying, treason & more (the hard part), but ‘Justice’ took too long. Will be DOA!”
Trump questioned why Barr hadn’t done more to expose Hunter Biden before the presidential election. “Joe was lying on the debate stage that nothing was wrong, or going on – Press confirmed. Big disadvantage for Republicans at the polls!” he wrote.
Earlier this week, news surfaced that the Justice Department had been investigating Hunter since 2018. The latest federal probe into the younger Biden’s overseas business dealings reportedly involves information on a laptop.
Trump has been fuming since the Supreme Court declined to hear a Texas lawsuit seeking to overturn the 2020 presidential election results and has continued to tweet his now infamous and totally baseless claims about winning the election.
