Donald Trump says he’s bringing the UFC to the White House next summer to celebrate his birthday.
While speaking to supporters in Norfolk, Virginia, Trump announced that a live UFC fight will take place at the White House on June 14th, 2026, the same day he turns 80.
“On June 14, next year, we’re going to have a big UFC fight at the White House, right at the White House grounds,” Trump said.
Though the UFC hasn’t officially confirmed the date, the event is reportedly tied to America’s upcoming 250th Independence anniversary. UFC CEO Dana White has previously teased the extravagant plan, saying the fighters will walk out from the Oval Office and weigh in at the Lincoln Memorial.
White also mentioned that replacing the grass on the South Lawn post-event will cost $700,000.
No matchups have been scheduled yet, and White has indicated fights won’t be locked in until early 2026. However, Conor McGregor has shown interest in facing Michael Chandler on the card. Jon Jones has also hinted at coming out of retirement specifically for the White House event.
