Tupac & Biggie Murder Series Could Be Coming To TV

Everyone is looking to cash in on the stories of Tupac Shakur and the Notorious B.I.G.  Adding to the list is USA Network and ‘The People v. O.J. Simpson’ director-producer, Anthony Hemingway.

According to The Hollywood Reporter,  USA Network has ordered a pilot for “Unsolved,” a scripted true crime story following the investigations of  2Pac and Biggie’s murders, as based on the experiences of former LAPD Detective Greg Kading. If Kading’s name sounds familiar, it’s because he is the author of the book Murder Rap: The Untold Story of Biggie Smalls & Tupac Shakur Murder Investigations. Murder Rap was later turned into a documentary.

Anthony Hemingway, known for his great work on The People vs. OJ Simpson, is set to direct the pilot. He also will executive produce along with Mark Taylor via their Hemingway | Taylor production company. There’s currently no fixed date for the show’s premiere, though reports say we should expect it to drop within the next year.

Are you interested in a crime story about Tupac and Biggie or is the story old news?
