Turk is confused by the reason behind B.G.’s dislike for him.
Last week, Cash Money celebrated its anniversary during Essence Festival in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Hot Boys graced the stage, taking us back to the ’99s and ’00s. But fans couldn’t help but notice that two members were missing: Lil Wayne and Turk.
During the event, rapper B.G. seemingly threw shots at Turk and hinted that his absence was his own fault.
“The n*gga did a bunch of h*e sh*t and can’t take it back,” B.G. said. “The n*gga know what he did last summer.”
Later on, B.G. followed his statement in an interview and referred to Turk as Letoya Luckett, suggesting that she was an outcast in the former Destiny’s Child girl group. Additionally, B.G. also claimed that Turk would not be missed if he was excluded from the Hot Boys reunion tour.
However, Turk caught wind of B.G’s comments and took to his YouTube channel to address the situation.
Around the 12-minute mark, he says, “B.G. to me has been very disrespectful. If I really did anything to you, brother, I can’t see you holding back and saying what it is,” Turk said. “I don’t know what it is, I can’t figure it out. I can’t put no light on a lie. Homie made a statement saying I know what I did last summer. I know what I did last summer.”
Turk’s approach to the incident is totally different from the first time he spoke on the reunion. Shortly after the performance, Turk went live on Instagram and admitted that he wasn’t interested in joining his former bandmates on the stage.
“You n*ggas want that sh*t to come together ’cause you n*ggas f*cked up outchea. I ain’t f*cked up outchea. I’m blessed and highly favored by God. Y’all got me f*cked up,” he said. “I’ll say f*ck a Hot Boys tour, n*gga.”
