TV Series Inspired By The Musical Legacy Of Selena Quintanilla Is Coming To ABC

According to Variety, ABC has given a put pilot commitment to a series inspired by the musical legacy of the late international superstar, Selena Quintanilla


Quintanilla. Simply put-the network has agreed to pick-up and air the series.

Although still untitled, the project will be written and co-executive produced by Miguel Nolla. However, family members of the Queen of Tejano music will have a hand in production, including her sister, Suzette Quintanilla Arriaga.
According to the publication, the new show will focus on successful pop star, Alex Guerra, who has been estranged from her family for years. However, a crisis leads her back to her hometown, where she will juggle her love life, her career and family secrets.
A premiere date has yet to be released.
