A large crowd gathered in New York City’s Union Square for popular YouTubers and Twitch streamers Kai Cenat and Fanum’s PlayStation Five giveaway.
Police say thousands came out to the event, with some fighting and throwing fire extinguishers at each other.
Photographs and videos have since circulated on the internet of Friday’s mayhem with police trying to stop l the madness.
Cenat was reportedly arrested for his role, the Sun U.S. reported. Others were also arrested.
It’s unknown if anyone was injured.
