Twitter Goes In A Frenzy Over Rumors Of Drake And Kanye Both Releasing Albums On Sept. 3

September 3 is just around the corner, so we will soon know if the rumors of Drake and Kanye West both dropping their albums on that day are true.

Many of us have been waiting a long time to hear Drake’s Certified Lover Boy project. And considering Kanye teased us with his three listening parties for his album Donda we would like to get our hands on that too.

If sources are correct, then that day may be September 3, according to sources. The double release comes as tension between the two stars brewed earlier this week. Drake seemed to diss Kanye in Trippie Redd’s “Betrayal.” Soon after, Ye posted and deleted Drake’s Toronto address.

The rumors have fans going wild on Twitter, making predictions, choosing sides, and making jokes about the two having the same drop date.

“N**** Kanye West Doing All This At His Listening Shows Just To Sell Under 150k When Drake Only Did A Quick Wwe Return Snippet For CLB & Gonna Sell 200k First Week,” wrote Twitter user @GhettoLoveBirds, a fan of Drake.

Another Drake Fan claimed Drake is the “bigger artist” and that he would listen to his album first.

However, some stood for Ye. “Drake makes timeless music, you can’t really say that Drake can’t can’t compete,” the user wrote. “It’s a close one, but I edge Kanye West.” Another Yeezy fan simply tweeted, “Kanye is better than drake!!!”

And on the other end, you had people who rooted for both—and hip hop itself.

“September 3rd HISTORY will be made. Kanye West Versus Drake in real life!!!” the Twitter user wrote. “The 2 biggest male artist since 2010 will go head to head to see who the top dog is. I cant wait!!”
