Twitter Reacts to Ja Rule’s Reaction of Robinhood Blocking Shares

Yesterday Twitter was in an uproar about the stock market and the Robinhood Investing app after they blocked users from purchasing certain shares.

A rep for Robinhood announced, “In light of recent volatility, we are restricting transactions for certain securities to position closing only, including $AAL, $AMC, $BB, $BBY, $CTRM, $EXPR, $GME, $KOSS, $NAKD, $NOK, $SNDL, $TR, and $TRVG,” adding, “We also raised margin requirements for certain securities.”

Many people weren’t too excited about being blocked from purchasing certain shares. Rapper Ja Rule, however, woke up this morning pretty upset about it, tweeting: “Yo this is a fucking CRIME what @RobinhoodApp is doing DO NOT SELL!!! HOLD THE LINE… WTF”

Now fans are reacting after rapper Ja Rule added his two cents on the situation, and of course it was nothing but jokes.

One Twitter user referred to a clip from Dave Chappelle tweeting: “You brought this on yourself Ja”

Another user tweeted “I’d normally say don’t listen to Ja Rule when it comes to finances…but it’s Dec 58th 2020, so might as well do it,” while shading Ja Rule.

Twitter user @goodlife_lou couldn’t believe he was agreeing with Ja Rule, tweeting: “The fact that I agree with ja rule scares me”

Another user tweeted: “I never had Ja Rule giving me financial advice in 2021 in my planner, and maybe that’s just what I was missing.”

One user said, “I feel like Ja Rule goes into hibernation and then reappears in chaotic situations.”
