The Super Bowl wrapped last night with the Kansas City Chiefs claiming the championship title for the first time in 50 years. While fans took to social media to celebrate the win, President Trump also got in on the fun. However, he didn’t exactly have his facts straight.
Trump took to Twitter to congratulate the team, saying, “You represented the Great State of Kansas and, in fact, the entire USA, so very well.” Now that seems innocent enough, but there was just one issue, the Kansas City Chiefs are based in Kansas City, Missouri.
While the tweet was deleted swiftly, screenshots had already begun to circulate, and before long, the hilarious Twitter dragging ensued.
