Stacey Dash is ready to regain her invite to the cookout, and Black Twitter is not here for it.
During her latest interview with the Daily Mail, Dash apologized for her harmful comments and support for Donald Trump over the years. The “Clueless” actress claims that the deadly Capitol riot was a turning point for her, causing her to distance herself from Trump and his beliefs.
“When that happened, I was like ‘OK, I’m done. I’m truly done,'” she explained. “Because senseless violence of any kind I denounce. What happened on Jan. 6 was just appalling and stupid.”
Dash added that there were things that she was sorry for her that were very “arrogant and prideful and angry.”
The 54-year-old’s acting skills were on full display as she vowed to give President Joe Biden a chance despite her problematic past comments. Nevertheless, Twitter was not having and proceeded to drag Miss Dash, sending her trending for part of the day.
I’m just here to remind y’all that Stacey Dash said transgender people should “pee in the bushes” if they “can’t make up their mind”and that wasn’t an error in judgment on her part.
