Twitter Responds To The New “ABC” Song With A Big “NO”

A new twist on the classic alphabet song solves the issue of the slurred “LMNOP” or as many say, “elemenopee” but apparently no one is excited about this improvement.

According to ABC News, the new song makes the five-letter sequence easier for kids to understand, learn and remember; however, the new song is enraging older generations who had to deal with the song in its initial form.

Writer and comedian Noah Garfinkel posted the song on Twitter last week, stating the new version was “life-ruining.” His post ignited a wave of backlash and hate towards the new song.

Original “ABC” stans followed suit, expressing their disapproval of the remix that slows down the letters and changes the rhythm of the song.

Although most reviews were negative, a few stated the pros of having a more clear version saying it would help children and non-native speakers learn the alphabet and English easier – which was the goal of the creators, Dream English Kids.

According to reports, the video was originally posted on YouTube in 2012 and as of today, has over six million views and is circling around social media from those with much to say.
