After experiencing a devastating cold front back in February, Texas is now experiencing weather at the opposite end of the spectrum. Instead, the state is now in the middle of a heatwave, with temperatures predicted to be in the upper 90s.
The heatwave is putting a strain on Texas’ electrical grid. As a result, the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) has asked residents to conserve energy by not using air conditioning or keeping it at higher temperatures.
Twitter trolled Senator Ted Cruz when he took a beach vacation during the cold snap back in February and seized the opportunity during the state’s most recent spell of severe weather.
What do you think Ted Cruz has his thermostat set to right now?
