On September 10, Miami-Dade Pastor Gregory Boyd was shot dead by Nathaniel Roberson, 31, and Latravia Bell, 20–both have since been arrested.
According to the Miami-Dade police, the suspects ambushed four victims as they started firing their guns into a crowded parking lot close to the Village Flea Market and Mall. Boyd was struck by one of the bullets and was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
Thanks to the help of video surveillance and tips from those in the area, authorities of the Miami-Dade County Homicide Bureau were able to apprehend the gunmen on Friday.
Both suspects face murder charges and are currently detained at the Turner Guliford Knight Correctional Center.
