Two Children, Ages 12 and 13, Shot By Driver After Throwing Snowballs At Passing Cars

Two children in Milwaukee, ages 12 and 13, were shot by an angry driver after they threw snowballs at passing cars.

Milwaukee police tweeted that the children were shot on Saturday evening after one of the snowballs struck a white Toyota.

According to CNN, police found the 12-year-old girl and the 13-year-old boy minutes apart. Both, with non-life-threatening injuries, were taken to local area hospitals.

“Over a snowball, you’re going to kill somebody? It’s ridiculous,” says Pearlee Piggue, who heard the gunshots ring out in her neighborhood.

Piggue claimed she heard the shots Saturday evening while she was cooking dinner, and she wasn’t the only one who was startled.

Another neighbor who wished to remain anonymous also concurred. “In the middle of our conversation, all we heard was four shots back to back, and we immediately hit the floor,” the neighbor claimed.

Milwaukee police have urged the public to come forward with any information about the suspect or the incident and to contact the department.
