Police are investigating Wednesday after two men were found dead inside a hotel room in the former Versace Mansion.
Police were called to the location at 1:21 p.m. after the bodies were discovered at the hotel located on Ocean Drive.
Miami Beach Police found the two unidentified men dead from gunshot wounds inside a fourth-floor hotel room.
Authorities said the scene is contained to the hotel room, and they are investigating the deaths.
A tourist from Texas told WVSN that she and her friends heard gunshots at around 4 a.m. The woman and her friends were near the back of the hotel when they heard the shots.
The discovery of the victim’s bodies comes just one day before the 24th anniversary of Gianni Versace’s death.
