Two more of Young Thug’s co-defendants in the YSL RICO trial accepted plea deals on Wednesday, just one day after another co-defendant reached a similar agreement.

Rodalius Ryan, also known as “Lil Rod,” pleaded guilty to violating Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, and received a 10-year sentence credited to time already served. Ryan is currently serving a life sentence for a 2019 murder conviction.

Marquavius Huey, aka “Qua,” also took a plea deal, accepting guilt on one RICO violation while seeing significant reductions to his original 19 charges, including armed robbery and firearms possession. Judge Whitaker sentenced Huey to 25 years, structured as nine years in custody, nine on probation, and five years suspended. Having already served two years, Huey faced the possibility of multiple life sentences but instead received what Judge Whitaker called a “huge opportunity” to turn his life around.

Following the sentencing, Huey addressed the court. “I want to apologize to my kids and my family, everybody who supported me,” he said. “I plan to do my time, come back, and be a better man.”

Young Thug, whose legal name is Jeffery Williams, was initially arrested in May 2022 as part of a sweeping 56-count indictment alongside 27 other suspected members of YSL. Prosecutors claim YSL is a criminal gang responsible for various offenses, while defense attorneys argue it is a legitimate record label, not a criminal organization.

The trial, which saw record-breaking jury selection, officially opened with statements on November 27, 2023, and is now Georgia’s longest-running criminal trial.
