Amid the allegations of rape and sexual misconduct against Russell Simmons, the music mogul has now been hit with additional allegations, coupled with recently filed criminal complaints against him.
According to TMZ, two women reportedly filed police reports late last month, claiming Simmons raped them in 1983 and 1991, respectively. One of the alleged victims, who has been identified as Sherri Hines, told police that Simmons attacked her in ’83 in his office.
“It happened so fast that the next thing I know, my pants were down and he was having his way,” Hines said of the alleged attack, where she claimed she was pinned down and restrained. “And then when he finished, I ran out of there and I left and I was crying and stood at the elevator for what felt like forever,” she continued, adding that she couldn’t believe “this man just violated me like I was nothing.”
The other victim, however, has requested anonymity. According to the publication, the woman claims Simmons raped her in his Manhattan home after a date in ’91. She claimed the music icon forced himself on her after she declined his sexual advances.
The new allegations of rape come after nearly 13 women have accused Simmons of sexual misconduct and rape. However, the mogul has previously denied all the allegations and even took a polygraph test to disprove the claims. Simmons is currently under investigation, but he maintains that he has “never had a sexual encounter that was not consensual or unlawful. ever.”
