According to Tyga’s camp, he DID reach out to 14-year old Molly O’malia, but not to hook up with her.Â
On Monday, Molly held a press conference alongside her lawyer, Gloria Allred, to clear her name. In the press conference she said that Tyga initiated contact with her via Instagram. She said that she initially thought he was reaching out to her regarding her music, but when they exchanged numbers and he asked to FaceTime several times, she got creeped out.
Tyga’s manager, Anthony Martini, tells TMZ that Tyga reached out to the teen because she was a talented singer and had a strong following. He was considering her for his Last Kings label and was strictly PG. He also says that Molly told him she was 17 in their text messages.Â
Martini says that Tyga in the back and forth, all Tyga asked was for Molly to send him music and things never got “uncomfortable.” He says that when Tyga asked to FaceTime, it was to talk business and see her sing as he sat in the studio with his producers.
