TYGA Signs Deal

Tyga Removes His “Ay Caramba” Music Video After Receiving Backlash For Including Latin Stereotypes

Tyga apologies for offending the Latin community with his latest video, “Ay Caramba.”

Fans weren’t too pleased with T-Raww’s newest music video. The rapper received backlash shortly after releasing the video for including Latin stereotypes.

T-Rawa recently sat down for an interview with podcaster American Cholo, who’s known for untangling various stereotypes and misconceptions in the Latino community. During the interview, AC said the main issue with the video was the stereotypes.

The video begins with the rapper dressed like a game show host wearing a sombrero. In the same clip, he also acts like a couch potato eating tortilla chips.

AC mentioned if the “chips and low-rider” images were substituted with “fried chicken and watermelon,” the African-American community would’ve seen it as a red flag.

T-Raww says he was confused by the backlash since his “Go Loko” song featuring YG went double-platinum.

The “Rack City” rapper did apologize for his actions. Initially, he wasn’t too interested in removing the video since it cost him $250,000 to shoot. However, T-Raww must’ve had a change of heart since then and decided to take down the footage. He reiterated that the video wasn’t meant to cause any problems.
