Tyler The Creator, added a unique touch to his look in the visual for “THOUGHT I WAS DEAD,” thanks to celebrity jeweler Gabby Elan.
In the unique visual for the lead single from his album, “CHROMAKOPIA,” Tyler sported custom teeth created solely for his new era. Known for his distinctive style, this latest piece is much more subtle than those seen on many rappers of today. Gabby Elan Jewelry constructed a porcelain grill with colorful stones in each of the ten teeth. The piece is not overdone, containing just one gem per tooth.
Elan Pinhasov and his father, Gabby Pinhasov, have been in the jewelry business for years, specifically designing jewelry for entertainers who want more intricate designs. They have made grills for Rihanna, Pharrell Williams, 03 Greedo, and even Erykah Badu. In recent years, the brand has flourished thanks to its expertise in more simplistic innovations. While these grills may not be as flashy, the materials are still the highest quality and can get into the thousands.
Though it’s unclear how much Tyler paid for his Gabby Elan mouthpiece, it’s clear the look was not cheap. For reference, Pusha T revealed in 2022 that he spent over six figures on a white gold base set. Though his included 405 stones, Gabby Elan is certainly not for those looking for bling on a budget.
