Just hours before Tyrese was scheduled to appear in court to resume the restraining order hearing, the singer/actor took to Instagram to express his frustrations with the case.
In a long post, he revealed that he could no longer fight for his daughter because the legal battle is draining his funds. He also directed most of his anger toward The Rock for failing to reach out to him, amid his legal issues. As he continued, the singer posted another photo of himself, alongside The Rock and Vin Diesel, threatening to pull himself out of the forthcoming “Fast & Furious” film if The Rock is in it.
But the singer didn’t stop there. He then took his frustration to Facebook, where he could record and post a long video to explain his situation. In the almost seven minute video, Tyrese began to break down, as he explained that he hadn’t seen his daughter for two months, prior to their recent monitored visit.
He begged his ex-wife, Norma Gibson to drop her fight for a restraining order against him, in which she accuses the singer of physically abusing their daughter. In his plead to his ex, he questioned how she could just wake up on September 11th and just accuse him of something he didn’t do, as he broke down in tears.
Also in the video, Tyrese calls out his rich friends, who have yet to help him in his time of need. The video was accompanied by a long caption, asking fans for prayer and accusing his ex-wife of being angry about his new marriage.
“We are not just married we are happily married that’s when this unexpected attack happened – I’m ONLY speaking out publicly because I’ve learned so much,” he wrote. “I’m from the hood but have never ever been on (sic) trail I repeat EVER…My main take away is speak TRUTH to POWER if you’re telling the truth you should never ever settle for what they’re offering cause we did nothing wrong.”
