Tyrese Says His Finances Were Saved By God After Nearly Filing for Bankruptcy [Video]

Tyrese has made a shocking revelation about his financial status and how he got out of a dire money situation.

The singer and actor opened up in a 30-minute video posted online, where he appeared emotional once again. “I woke up this morning with a heart full of gratitude,” he said, breaking into tears.

He credited a higher power for his financial turnaround, saying, “I have been having some intimate and beautiful exchanges and moments with God. I know it’s him… something I thought was on the brink of destruction got turned around.”

Tyrese revealed he was close to filing for bankruptcy.

“I’m not the reason I didn’t file… I’m not the reason these legal fees just showed up and got covered. I’m good, but I’m not that good,” he said.

This comes after months of legal drama with his ex-wife, Samantha Gibson, who claimed he owed $492,651.99 in legal fees. She filed a motion in July asking a judge to hold Tyrese in contempt, saying he made “no effort whatsoever” to pay despite having the means.

Tyrese previously shared that his marriage ended abruptly in 2020. He recalled the moment she left, saying she packed 50 boxes and covered their Ring camera. On Club Shay Shay, he admitted the divorce left him “devastated and crushed.”

Now, it seems Tyrese is finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel.
