Just weeks after Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith revealed that they hadn’t agreed to give up any cash to Tyrese in the wake of his social media break down over his daughter; it appears the singer/actor may have been caught up in another lie.
Last night, Tyrese took to Instagram to announce a sequel may be in the works for the 2005 John Singleton thriller, “Four Brothers.”
“Paramount has officially greenlit a sequel to Four Brothers (no lies here lol) ….it’s all over the net the script is almost done to the sequel and it’s magic-Gonna be cool as hell just getting back with the crew,” Tyrese wrote.

However, things got a little fishy when the singer/actor posted a screenshot of a headline that read, “Paramount eyeing ‘Four Brothers’ sequel.” The Hollywood Reporter article that seemed to corroborate Tyrese’s story was written in 2010. Whether the “Sweet Lady” singer found a screenshot of the headline on the Internet and automatically assumed that a new gig was in the works or he has his own inside information about the sequel or if he just blatantly lied, talk of a sequel is not all over the Internet (Unless you count Tyrese’s mention of it).

If, in fact, a new film were in the works, would you be here for it?
