Tyrese Gibson took to social media Wednesday to give a heartbreaking update on his mother, Priscilla Murray. She is currently in a coma in ICU after receiving a pneumonia and COVID-19 diagnosis.
The Fast & Furious actor revealed in an Instagram post that the doctor told him there’s not much they can do for Murray at this point.
“The Doctor sat in this chair and just broke my heart by telling me there’s pretty much nothing else that can be done to turn things around…..” Tyrese captioned a picture of a hospital room door. “I paused, and in my most sincere voice I asked him…. You ever heard of a man name Jesus Christ?”
He added, “Nothing is impossible for him…… Ha paused and couldn’t respond…!!”
The singer posted a picture at his mother’s bedside in a follow-up post. He is leaning over her while holding her hand. You can see his mother is hooked up to several machines.
“Keep fighting mother………,” Tyrese wrote. “Please mother, we need You…….”
The posts come just days after Tyrese shared his mom’s diagnosis with his followers. At the time, he asked for prayers. He revealed that he had left the set of a movie he was filming to be with Murray at the hospital.
