Tyrese is facing a lawsuit that claims he caused harm to an Airbnb property by making “excessive alterations.”
According to Tracy Wolf, the property manager, Tyrese entered into a six-month agreement for a five-bedroom estate in Woodland Hills, commencing in February, with a monthly rent of $20,000. She claims that he began constructing additional structures on the property shortly after moving in.
Wolf alleges that Tyrese caused extensive damage to the property by modifying electrical panels, installing electrical outlets that did not meet the required standards, transforming a marble fireplace into a shiny gold metallic color, sealing off doors and windows, and harming the HVAC units.
TMZ acquired a video in which Tyrese showcases some of the alterations made within the residence. In the video, he mentions that he blocked certain doors and windows due to privacy considerations. Additionally, he asserts that the materials weren’t permanently attached to the property’s existing structures.
However, they say that these modifications are anything but temporary and have resulted in property damage. Furthermore, the property manager alleges that Tyrese attempted to have the homeowner’s gardener remove 22 banana trees from the premises. When the gardener declined, she claims Tyrese sought out another company but wasn’t able to due to the property management team.
Nevertheless, the property manager say that Tyrese was repeatedly asked not to make any modifications without obtaining consent from the owners. The homeowner, Tiffanique Webb, initially gave grace to Tyrese, allowing him several months to reverse the property. However, Tyrese ceased communication which ultimately prompted the legal action. Webb is pursuing a lawsuit against Tyrese for damages exceeding $25,000.
