Edwin Jackon, former linebacker for the Indianapolis Colts and his Uber driver were unfortunately killed in a fatal car accident this past Sunday.
According to USA Today, the accident was a result of an intoxicated, Manuel Orrego-Savala, who reportedly lives in the U.S. illegally, and has been deported twice.
USA Today further reports that Savala’s blood alcohol level was almost three times the legal limit.
We all know how #DonaldTrump feels about illegal immigrants in this country. He decided to remind us of these feelings in a tweet, responding to the incident.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“So disgraceful that a person illegally in our country killed @Colts linebacker, Edwin Jackson. This is just one of many such preventable tragedies. We must get the Dems to get tough on the Border, and with illegal immigration FAST!,” tweeted Trump.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
According to USA Today, Trump and Congress will be meeting this week to debate about the immigration policy, as well as its February 8th deadline date.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Trump later tweeted (as if he really cares), sending his condolences to Jackson’s family.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“My prayers and best wishes are with the family of Edwin Jackson, a wonderful young man whose life was so senselessly taken. @Colts.”
