Uber has introduced a groundbreaking new service to support busy parents, marking a significant shift in the game.
The ride-sharing company has partnered with car seat manufacturer Nuna to offer Nuna RAVA car seats for families requiring transportation in New York City and Los Angeles.
Uber Car Seat rides alleviate the hassle of transporting a child’s seat while navigating the city. These seats are readily accessible for children weighing between 5 and 65 pounds in both cities, limited to one seat per ride.
For those looking to book a family ride, Uber is providing a $10 discount on two Uber Car Seat rides using the code CARSEAT2024. This offer is valid from March 26 to April 21.
“At Uber, we understand the challenges parents face when traveling with young children, especially when it comes to safety and convenience,” Danielle Sipf, head of US&C Core Operations at Uber in San Francisco, said. “We’re thrilled to launch Uber Car Seat to provide peace of mind for families with a hassle-free transportation option that prioritizes the well-being of their little ones.”
Additionally, Uber has also introduced a new feature to teen accounts aimed at simplifying spending limits. With this feature, parents who share an account with their child can establish a monthly budget directly within the app.
