Uber dropped a new subscription that gives riders discounts on food, rides and delivery for just $10 a month.
Look, some of us have opted to walk with how high ride-share prices have gotten. But, Uber appears to be trying to relieve some of that struggle by introducing a new plan called Uber One. You can either pay $9.99 for a month or $49.99 for the year. In the plan, you will have access to ride and delivery benefits like discounts including 5 percent of “eligible” rides, food and grocery deliveries, The Verge reports.
The best perk may be that Uber One members won’t have to pay a delivery fee for takeout or groceries. Subscribes will also get $5 back on late deliveries, along with other “exclusive perks.” The news outlet reports “invite-only experiences” are also on the list of Uber One features.
The company will be giving its Eats Pass subscription the boot in exchange for Uber One. Uber’s Eats Pass launched as the company’s first subscription back in 2018. Eats Pass members will automatically be upgraded to Uber One with their next billing cycle.
